I don't consider them mutually exclusive as long as you know how much quantity you can handle to maintain high quality. Personally, I never compromise on quality... quality is what ultimately generates quantity of referrals and repeat business.

Both, of course Steven Nickens . Fortunately for me (in semi-retirement) the quantity position of the equation is pretty low. Quality needs to be flawless as I'm a loan closer these days and my pay get's docked for any little flaw.

I've seen it both ways. Quality is easier, and quantity is more work, but it the end result that matters. I would not turn down loans just because they require more work. No one gets one or the other, but usually it's a combination of both.

Since we do not list property, we do not get a bunch of calls.  The calls we do get are typically "quality" homebuyers who are looking for "quality" service.

We don't need a bunch of buyers...just a few "quality" ones.

I matters NOT how good one is if no one sees it.

If ones business plan is to create a 'referral' base, quality is essential.

However we see many profitable business plans and organization strategies that are NOT quality dependent.
