Yes. In this day and age I find that younger people are more apt to text rather than "the dreaded phone call." I have not had any abuse of the system.

Those inclined to text do not need a widget or permission. They see the number and know what to do instinctively. It IS their environment. 

Now if an agents business profile and business card has a number for the office, home and mobile and even a FAX number, we need to have a chat. WEll, no. We will all  'do it" the way we think works best.

It is true, if one want to keep their phone number a secret, a widget would be a solution. An agent with a secret number.....hmmm...

My website does not have a text widget yet the texts keep coming in.

It is possible the agent wants to keep their number a secret so a widget would work. An agent with a secret number...hmmmm.....
