I haven't kept track, Bob but it seems wall calendars are not as popular as they were once.  If you pursue this marketing angle next year, remember to keep us informed about any reactions/results.

I get them from the veterans and animal organizations I support.  Like you, I still use a paper calendar in addition to the one I use for reminders on my PC.

Yes seems so few are sending them out, we usually receive 3-4 each year and so far we haven't received one.

My wife still loves them even though she does use her phone, she has one in the kitchen and on her nightstand.

I actually received a calendar from our neighborhood notary.  Only one so far.  Yes, I think less people in business are using them hence less are given out.  The calendars with reminders on our phones has taken over the paper calendar.  I still prefer the paper ones as well.

I think they cost too much. Besides, I've called people that send them to me & tell them don't.

Sounds like a good idea but the whole operation is really alot of work.

Yes. A lot of people don't use paper calendars. We received one yesterday from our insurance guy. It had puppies and kittens on it so I immediately put it on the fridge although it begins in January. If it had the beach I would have put it up too.

I don't monitor who gives what away to comment on that, but I do use wall calendars and paper planners annually. Not sure how tech would replace the need for one in my world, since digital calendars are hidden in my phone and do me no good as a much needed visual reminder.

Calendars work well, people see and use them. When you walk into a town office or registry of deeds or motel lobby or tourist information center and see your brand advertising year round. You know you don't want to lose that spot. We do 12 month at a glance, the regular rural countryside monthly and another special custom for those folks who we rely on like attorneys, insurance, contractors, etc. Plus shopping list size tall pads of paper, pens and thick beefy magnet that really holds stuff on a file cabinet or refrigerator.

We don't normally receive more than one or two a year. My calendars are about to be sent and my clients seem to like them. I always find them on their fridges in their homes. Of course mine are the small ones.

I keep a Lang American Cat calendar on my office wall which I refer to all the time. I keep another cat calendar on my fridge... which my husband and I refer to all the time... it's also more of an artistic calendar.

Hmm, I have not noticed a decline, it seems that some years I receive too many and other years not enough, haha.  I send calendars out to my sphere and they seem to be well received, as people often tell me that they look forward to receiving them, so I will continue to send them out.

I’m another “now that you mention it,” I haven’t received one this year or I think last year.

I haven’t used a paper calendar in 20 years but am happy for those of you that do. There are some beautiful paper calendars out there.

Like Michael J. Perry I have listed a number of homes that had a competitors refrigerator magnet on their door. It’s a relationship business.

No calenders from others.

However, I will visit my local title company for a complimentary desktop blotter/calendar.

Folks WILL seek out your calendar if it is SPECIAL.

The most ingenious calendar trick I ever witnessed was a CB agent sent out last years calendar. Everyone wanted the HELP him and called. Most real estate agents would think this effort a failure but the reality is a skilled agent would spell this outcome SUCCESS!. The few who scoffed did not call and really did not matter. He got calls from the RIGHT people.
