We had a pretty bad storm and most parents kept them indoors :(   For those that braved the rain, we gave out double the pleasure, double the fun!!  When I mentioned this to one little guy, he puffed up his little chest and said "I trick or treat in all weather!"  He was so proud, ha ha.    PS  we make up goodie bags in advance and know what each kid is getting!

I had 5 groups of trick or treaters last night and 6 tonight. To the last 3 tonight, I gave a ton of candy each! I didn't want any left over!

We did have a Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) who wanted nothing to do with my dogs but, asked me to please come in to pet my cat (who goes to the door with the dogs when someone comes to the door)! I think she'll be a great real estate agent, doctor, nurse or any career that needs people with a caring heart or a sweet personality!

I saw a cute video (from a porch camera) of a boy coming up to an empty bowl of candy. He took candy out of his bag and put it in the bowl for the next kids. Not all hope is lost on the younger generation.
