I do have a plan.  I also look at it often and check to see that I am on track.  It's important.  I schedule regular time off, vacations, and rest.  Without a solid plan, I will overwork and accomplish less.  

Having said that, I've changed my plan several times this year due to health issues and a serious accident.  Flexibility is critical because you can't plan for things like that.

My best tip is to time-block. That way personal and business work well together and I don't have to worry about balancing a thing! The calendar does it for me!
