John Smith it's all a matter of personal prefferance. I used Microsoft office for everything. I briefly worked for a brokerage that used SkySlope and it is the reason I left the brokerage. Skyslope is great if you love paperwork more than you love getting out and selling Real Estate.

I'm a big fan of Docusign & Zipforms - they work hand-in-hand and are incredibly user-friendly, including ease of use by a large demographic of clients.
What is your broker using or are you the broker?

I use Zipforms because my company provides it for free. It works fine. I've used SkySlope when with another brokerage who provided that for free...also worked fine. The only one I ever had issues with was Dotloop, who I believe is now owned by Zillow... so I wouldn't be inclined to give Zillow business.

Hm. I've been reading up on some of the previously asked questions regarding software, and it seems like the answers are all over the place (as to be expected!) since everyone has different needs. I will take a look at some of the suggestions for sure! I am just trying to get a feel for what is out there and what is used as a standard or best practice.

We are forced to use DocuSign & I love it. Works great. Everything then gets put into Transaction Rooms where it's stored.
Dotloop is owned by Z so we will not use that.
All really have overlapping features so choose the one that you think is the easiest to navigate.
Forms come from our MLS that syncs with Docusign so that is handled.

If you are referring to a CRM, we have been looking for a long time and have not found a solution for our needs. We have tried numerous programs.
Our broker mandates that we all use Skyslope.
We love Zipforms and DocuSign.

A few of us got as far as developing software to blast solicitation via text msg. Scrub on www for rental rates, rental referral for realtors etc.
Unfortunately, most software developers realtors went on start their start up and I am a few remaining in real estate.

Forms - The ones I use come from the STATE website or are custom written by an attorney. These forms are made available via my MLS and/or my broker. Very often broker choose transaction management software that delivers the forms and allows the broker to micro-manage the agent.
Dotloop - this suggests you are commercial focused. The good news is in commercial, the attorneys will be creating the forms anyway.
The real answer to your question can only be found when you flesh out what your business is and what problem you are actually trying to solve.
Most folks in real estate have only one real problem in need of a solution and that is lead generation. Nothing you have mentioned will help you in that regard. For that purpose Rehab (REI) and CIS(residential) are the tools/software to look at adding to your lead generation website.
The big players that tend to deliver on the needs of agents is Docusign and Zipforms. However, what the MLS or broker provides will prevail.

We have CTMecontracts here in Colorado, and THINK they are branching soon to other states. They are WONDERFUL.

Like Corinne Guest said, your Broker may have mandated software for you to use. Out here I use zipforms because it's a free member benefit for California realtors (our state association built it and used to own it).
