Business, like all things in life is about change(s). Major, minor and everything in between. Our attitude toward that change likely determines how we feel about it. At the time it occurs and eventually too. You can throw into entire mixed salad of things that happen each year including adjustments, nuances, evolution, all forms of mutation and more. Rolling with the punches as appropriate and other points of action take place. The inevitability of 2019 doesn't necessarily conjure up good or bad.

One of the biggest changes I have found is the number of agents who refuse to have a conversation on the phone and will only text, email or....not at all.

The last 12 months have been relatively on track, I have noticed changes with competition and choices though, our market is flooded with flat fee carpetbaggers. Definitely working harder on my USP.

Our market shifted mid-year last year, and when the rates dipped, we saw a flurry of activity.

My business came to a halt in February of this year. I closed 2 deals in January, but the remainder of my buyers backed off stating that prices were out of control and they wanted to wait for a correction in the market before buying. It's been 5 months and I've done a few rentals. Buyers are starting to wake up again as I've seen a significant amount of listings dropping in price. This is the first time in 10 years I've had to resort to a part time job to bridge the gap! Is anyone else in south Florida experiencing this down swing?

Luckily, not a ton of change has come my way this year... So far, so good and I'll keep swimming.

This yeat has been better than us - if we compared it to the last 3 - 4 years. We have three open construction sites at the moment and our sales team prepares offers to future home owners almost every week.

Not to much change yet but zillow is making its way in to the business big time.
