I do it myself. My 1st year in the business I worked for an office that had a secretary who did the data input. With no familiarity with the property there were always mistakes so I did my own back then too. The last thing you want is a seller calling you up telling you about all the errors on your listing- it makes you look very bad.

I do it all myself... at the end of the day, I'm responsible for any information put out there. By the time I finish proofing what someone else has done, correcting it, etc. I can do it myself. I've never been associated with a brokerage who did this for their agents.

At my 1st Broker they had a secretary who did it all for every agent. I think that is a mistake Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS especially for a new agent. Every agent should know/learn the basics.

Sometimes my own, sometimes someone else on my team. And not often but we can simply email the paperwork to our MLS and they input for free. But I like to do my own just to make sure it's all correct - nothing like inputting each and every field as a good spot check that all the listing paperwork is correct.

Regardless of who inputs the data, the reality is I WILL OWN ALL THE MISTAKES.

So, if mistakes are to be made. I will make them myself, not inherent them from the act of others.

It is funny that although the broker 'owns' the listing they refuse to own the mistakes.
