Great question! I don't interweave too much of my personal life into my business life but this question raises a good point - maybe this is something I can incorporate in 2019.

Any hobby can be integrated into your real estate business.  For me it was golf.  

I do a lot of volunteering and enjoy blogging about things I do across the city - not just as a volunteer but, personally, with family, friends and clients.

To me, the buyers' consideration for lifestyle and location (proximity to that lifestyle) is key in selecting a neighborhood and ultimately, a home.

Love the photo of the horse...Many of our clients are involved in golf, eauestrian, charitable activities, tennis, fine dining, surfing etc

My hobby interests have created a few transactions but my leadership activities in the builders association proved to be important than hobbies.

I do have a few solid niches, but they have little to do with what I do in my free time.  That time is spent mostly in my missions dealing with homeless people who are not likely to ever buy a home.

I have written books on life, love, intimacy & purpose that is out there for those that need a leg-up or a validation. I require nothing in return...

I have included blogs about my kids sports, music and theater events.  Nothing like a Little League post or a great school play. 

When my son was younger, I coached many of his teams and got to know the parents of other players.

I do a fair amount of localism posts and blog about our Cocoa Beach life style.

I have incorporated real estate into my lifestyle which has everything to do with the Pacific Ocean throughout California and Hawaii. I don't do regular business hours but am available when my clients need me. During our time looking to buy or sell, I am very close to my clients.  They can call me anytime, they are my first priority. We become friends, but not walking in and out of each others house kind. Although some stay closer. Am meeting up with one over New Year's for 3 days of revelry in Waikiki.  Yep, fellow Activerain member Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents and I are meeting up on December 30 and we will probably blog about it here. I helped her buy her vacation home on the Big Island of Hawaii. So, yes, real estate has become my lifestyle and have made some good friends.

2 avocations help with real estate but are not related to it at all. One is music. Music is math. rhythm. It's knowing when to phrase properly, when to rest. I may write about this. LOL
The other is metaphysics. Helps to understand people and how to deal with them. And more importantly, whether or not I wish to. 🙈

Health, local activities, community involvement/service, recipes that are slanted towards healthier variations of traditional options, photography etc

My niche is relocation.

I am an outdoorsman, I grew up on the farm and I am a big sportsman, both play and watch

I don't.

Avoid evil, mean, not well-intending people at all costs ... no matter the niche. The phony bolognas who ultimately reveal their real self are cut off from getting any of my energy.  Life is too short to waste it. 

None at the moment.

I write about pet shelter issues... I have a following but nothing has ever resulted in new business because of it. If I didn't believe in the cause so much, I'd stop doing it.
