Take a look at Insightly, Brivity, and RealtyJuggler Lanre-"THE REAL ESTATE FARMER" Folayan. John uses Insightly and likes it, we've heard great things about Brivity, and RealtyJuggler is really affordable from what I hear, so worth looking into all of them and comparing. -Kasey

All CRM's with drip campaigns are "canned" stuff. If you don't want "canned" you need to add your own material to drip. Not sure what you mean by syncing with social media.

IXACT does that, Lanre and I love the social intelligence feature. It's really helpful when you get a new lead and you want to check them out before reponding. Just drop their email address in a new contact and it takes you to their social media sites.
It's affordable and robust. I think you'll like it!
OH and as for the 'canned stuff' - you write your own drip campaigns on IXACT.
Good luck!

Hi Lanre-"THE REAL ESTATE FARMER" Folayan. I'm working with/ learning IxactContact. It seems rather inclusive, very customizable (both regarding content and who gets it when) and reasonably priced. Their support has been very responsive & helpful (and I'm not one that catches on to "these things" quickly...).
Hope this helps & good luck with whatever your choice is!

I've use Top Producer now for about 6 months, and it has been great. You know what they say, the best CRM is the one you actually use. As long as your following up, you're on the right track.

"Not the canned stuff." Hmmm,
That sounds like you are willing to write your own content. Now that will be an exhausting labor of love that can become overwhelming. But I like it because you are not yet aware a 'good drip campaign' is the product you are being sold but not what you should be buying. Seriously, who needs another 77 year drip campaign.
You want and should be buying CRM with a foundation in 'IN-BOUND" marketing. Such marketing has nothing to do with the 'in-box."
IN order of decreasing personal financial burden look into:
Salesforce
Hubspot
Sugar CRM
These resources will produce the best quality results from the beneficial content you intend to create.
Now, here is an exercise worth doing. Maybe readers on AR will contribute.
Add up the entire marketing budget and devide that by the number of transactions sides closed for the past 12 months. That is the cost for each client you close.
When assessing the cost of 'in-bound' marketing one should be aware of what they are already spending in their 'see what sticks' marketing strategy. It a new way of doing business and does rely on SM and other monitored engagement to deliver the gold.
Lanre-"THE REAL ESTATE FARMER" Folayan now that you have received a number of great responses you will need a plan for evaluating each.
Be aware, the greatest cost of a CRM is the setup, configuration, training, testing and validation of the system. Once those time dollars are invested few agent wish to spend those dollars again. To minimize those real costs you need to have a plan. Now, I have put a dozen CRM through validation testing. SOme are simply TOO DANGEROUS TO USE. But agents ARE paying monthly to have their business compromised.
Step one is a good analysis of what your business really needs when your business gets where you want it to be 3 years from now. I gave a clue in what you must be looking into previously.
Step two, create 10 test email addreses using different email services. (gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc) 5 buyer and 5 sellers.
Step three, develop a test script that exploits the features your busieness needs. If 77 year drip campaings are still your goal, your testing should include images and links. This way you can assess which email services will disable the CTA in your message. Be aware, this 'disabling' can be caused by YOUR ISP. IT is best to know BEFORE you are the victim.
Finally, be aware that training will be an issue in the future when the pursuit of your vision delivers the results you wanted. CRM with learning curves extended beyond the horizon like TP may not be the best choice if others must be trained.
Knowing what your business needs allows you to select a 'flat' CRM which is easy to implement and not exception based like many of the legacy products on the market.
Best of success,
Annette

I used Lion Desk desk for a while and simply modified their canned drip campaigns to suit my needs. The problem with any CRM that offers a drip system is that there is no way to prevent the emails from landing in your prospects junk/spam folder. In the end, I canceled LD and now maintain my contacts in our local MLS Matrix system.
Cheers!
