I have asked many to go out after the closing. When the invite is for a bite to eat, drinks, etc they are usually too busy right after a big event like a closing. That's the usual response but I have had a few take me up on it & it's always fun celebrating a sale.

We actually used to a lot, or we would take them out to dinner after. We even had a client live with us for 3 months while his family was selling their home in another state and he was looking to buy. That was in our first few years of real estate. Now, not as much with kids, and busy-ness, and day-to-day life. -K
