Yes, as long as it has in the body the required information (In my state that's brokerage name and number as well as agent's name and number). I actually have lots of random people share my ads... like when someone will share it to a wall of someone they know is looking for a home. All my business posts have the correct information to be okay to be shared by anyone.

What stops anyone from sharing your posts...
You have put the information out there, in hopes it will be shared, so I do not see what stops anyone from sharing it, including your assistant.
If s/he were a client and shared it would you ask the same question?
I would ask her to credit you/your brokerage (in accordance with state laws) when she shared your post, CYA.

I agree with Corinne Guest and J.R. Schloemer, CRS - share away! As long as it is only sharing ... I do not see an issue.

Why not??? She is not conducting real estate, but rather just sharing information on a new home. She is not answering questions and hopefully anyone interested in that home will give you a call.

I agree with the others. If your post has the pertinent information in it, including your brokerage I don't see how it's any different than a friend or some random person sharing it. Broker to broker I'd recommend making sure that your brokerage information or whatever is required by WY state law is included in the post so that is shared all along with it. -Kasey

First, check your state laws. Pennsylvania does allow an unlicensed person to share online material.

This is a good question. No one wants to get a slap on the hand for misbehaving. Yes, we share listings and I have no issue when a non licensed person wishes to share on social media.

As long as the licensee and brokerage are in plain sight on the add I would see no problem with this.

Yes. It's about the same as sharing a newspaper with your classified ad inside the paper.

I think it is different because I could share your listing on my Facebook page even though I am not licensed in your state. I could be saying - Look at this awesome kitchen that a friend has listed - or I could say - why didn't the photographer put the toilet seat down! Anyone who sees your listing on the internet could share it on Facebook and say this is where I am going this afternoon!
3,988,007
Of course. That is the purpose to get it to be shared by her, her friends and her friends' friends. On and on it goes.
699,874
I wouldn't think why they couldn't as long as I guess your name is prominent and that of your brokerage.

Of course she can! And her friends can share the post, as can friends of the friends. Great question though. Social media is made for sharing. Good luck and happy posting!

As far as I know for California, yes they can. They just can't discuss certain items with anyone.
1,311,397
I am in agreement with others here. Sharing a Facebook post can be done by any FB member.
931,002
Your state rules apply but I would assume that as long as the post was compliant with the rules (all disclosures are in place) then anyone could share it.
4,800,082
3,416,038
In my opinion they can share the listing but can not answer any questions on it and can not solicit offers.
921,504
An example of the shared post on the destination page would need tdo be seen.
5,049,183
I don't see a problem but if you are concerned it's worth a call. No doubt it varies by state.
