YES! Let's say you want to share an AR blog on another blogging site... all images imported to the new site will be imported like this sample source code from one of my blogs:

You will manually need to change the code after the "=" (equal sign) like the following by inserting (http://www.activerain.com) before the "/image_store/uploads...." portion of the img src code.

   Manual.

       I never use the "share" link from AR or any other website.  I no longer use "Add This" app.  You save time with share links, but you lose control.

       I manually add the Title to the post, plus the URL link, then I add #hashtags, and any emojis.  Finally, I use a screen shot of the image or a video clip, and click on the Twitter image link to post that.

      * The image in the Tweet is not "click-through".  You need to click on the URL link in the Tweet to get to the blog post.

A reason I do not share from AR.  I share my WordPress posts. It looks like Denise Samouilidis has a solution to resolve the issues.

I usually upload photos from my computer to Twitter.

While Denise Samouilidis was able to be of help, your question was way above my paygrade!

I just post pictures separately to Twitter. I've given up on making it work from Active Rain to any of my social media.

I've tried many things and the only way I can get an image to appear on Twitter is to manually add the image. More time consuming than I like, and I appreciate Denise Samouilidis 's answer!

If you're using the free WordPress SEO plugin (and I think everyone should be), you can set those settings under Dashboard > SEO > Social > Twitter > and then choose Summary with large image. That will work for your site. We can't do anything ourselves about the AR ones. 

I gave up on the sharing because of the problems but go directly to Facebook, Google, etc. to post and add photos. Looks like Denise Samouilidis has a good solution, too!

I dont spend much time on twitter

I agree Dave Martin (703) 585-4687, I do not understand why the sharing or our Active Rain blog to Twitter using the share icon will not allow the photo in our Active Rain blog to migrate over to Twitter while we are still in Active Rain. The text and the Active Rain link does transfer  to Twitter but not the image. I would rather not take the time to go into Twitter manuallly had set it up. I hope that someone has a fix or work around to go from Active Rain to Twitter for the blog share that is simple and effective. It appears that Denise Copeland suggestion involves html code which I do not know how to use, especially through the Twitter share link which involves the link code not html. I may not be grasping it though. Jeff
