Interesting story (I think)... My husband and I developed a couple of subdivisions (selling lots) and were constructing luxury homes too.  I got really tired of paying Realtors when I was the creative one doing all the marketing, doing all the showings, negotiating etc.   So after I got licensed, I then found myself competing with those same agents.  After 8 years, they started coming to me and saying, "Since I cannot compete with you, can I join you?"   So now my team is growing with experienced luxury agents and I love it!
