We don't have settlement table closings.
Having said that, Luna has gone with me to pick up packages and the escrow companies love her.
Would I take her to a business meeting? No.
Might a client have their dog? Possible.
Luna doesn't know she's a dog and doesn't like other dogs. That's a good reason not to right there.

I would say it depends on the size and temperament of the dog, Valeria Mola. The smaller and more docile (and better groomed), the more appropriate - in my opinion. - Tim

EDITED: I agree with Debe Maxwell, CRS and others - if it is a service dog, then yes. Otherwise, might not be the best idea.

Seems like absolutely NOT is the consensus here. But, I will go a step further. Some places - even offices ARE pet-friendly. Maybe asking first would be appropriate. But regardless of whether it's ok or not; pets can be a distraction.

Nope. But my 85 year old client brought her poodle to a July closing a few years ago because the power had been shut off on her old house and we couldn't leave the dog in the car.  Title company was more than happy to accomodate.  But my Bogey the Wonder Dog does not do real estate.
