Ha! Homes? They usually have air conditioning on. Try commercial buildings!
I was out showing Thursday at 2 p.m. which I normally do not do that late but it was unavoidable. Temperature was 118. I'm pretty hardy but I was even feeling a little bit weird.
Just came back from morning showings and it's a cooooool 105 with a high of 111.
Arizona rocks!

Sure, why not? My car is air conditioned. Homes are air conditioned. I've lived in the Middle East where this was "normal" and even higher. At the end of the day, I'd rather be hot than cold, myself.

It depends on who is asking me to show homes Joseph Domino 480-390-6011 . I am at a point where I better know they are a serious, qualified buyer before I put myself out in those conditions. There are always exceptions however... I'd show Nina Hollander homes if it was 200 degrees out (above or below zero) .

I don’t envy you who must go out in 100+ temps unless it is to the pool. Yet…it is what you have to do to show your commitment and work ethic to your clients. Unless, of course, they think it is too hot to venture out.

If it were that hot here in moderate western Washington we'd all be wilted.  We had a week of 100+ degree weather a few years ago and I recall doing some driving and seeing 108 on my cars thermometer, I don't recall showing homes.  I would with the right buyer though.

It doesn't get that hot up here. Obstacles in CT are usually ice storms or 2 feet of snow; that might slow me down. I've also inched along the side of a cliff covered in ice to get to a house I was showing so 118' might not be enough to stop me.

Hi Joseph, we have the same weather almost every day in Naples, FL.  It's 93 hot and humid.  It's totally unavoidable.  I used to go outside and turn on my car up north in the winter so it would heat up. Now I go out and turn up my car and turn on the air conditioner so it cools down.  The head can definitely wipe you out.  I bring a cooler of drinks for myself and my clients to make sure we all stay hydrated.
