Wow with 3 posts or more a day I'd banish you. I have someone that does that now & I wishing them evil thoughts everyday.

I'm in private groups on FB - they are smaller groups and no one solicits. We share tips and crazy stories with one another. I have gotten tons of referrals from these groups over the years and the best part, no one solicits!

I much prefer the smaller, laid-back groups with agents who actually sell real estate and have something beneficial to share!

I think the true way to grow your business with social media is to provide content that is of genuine value to potential clients.  Blasting people with tons of posts is not going to build a following.  It may get your face in their face, but is that the reputation you really want?  Take the time to post something that an audience will appreciate, and it will grow your business.   

I think the best 'anything' is what works for you.
Some people are wildly successful doing exactly what you're talking about.
My company page serves its purpose.
I'm not the type to start and oversee a large group.
I'd rather sit across a table from one person at a time, in real, and walk away with a deal or a relationship. Or both!

sorry, but I would think pissing people off is not the way to go.... I would have been gone and STAYED AWAY if I were not an agent....  

I run some community pages that were a great source of new clients but there is so many pages now, it is hard to keep them with Facebooks new way they let users see pages. I have a couple of ideas I have been pondering, and with your inspiration will give it a try

A running group and 'best kept secrets' group are my alter egos on Facebook.

Although it is clear what I do for a living I NEVER post my listing to these groups. 

RG has about 473 local followers while BKS is nearing 6,000 nationwide.  It is really easy to tie into the common interest of each community the stories of my people encounters via real estate. Alan whose pharmacology inventory has dwindled to a bottle of Tylenol and Lisa who has come to embrace the magical experience of thin places. These are transformations witnessed through the available portals of real estate.

And yes, I do encounter those who want to post a couple of pictures every day. They do get banished.

Do I make money from RG or BKS? No. I make money because of the FACEBOOK ads they see and my inbound strategy.

I don't post just for the sake of posting, and I'm not interested in others managing any of my pages or posting for me. I don't have groups outside of facebook, but do post blogs on other sites. I get some business from them now and then, but I don't rely on those too much. I might get more leads if i was more active on those sites.

     I believe that people have reached the saturation point with social media.

I don't agree with that approach at all... it would feel like spamming to me. I already hate when "real friends" seem to post and post and post all day long. I'm always thinking they should just get themselves a life. I wouldn't want my client base thinking I have nothing else to do but post to Facebook.

No.  I'm less and less fond of social media, especially facebook.  I only use it now for a couple local news and gun groups, active rain peeps and lab coat agents.  Even then, I'm only on a couple times a week if that.

Yes. I have a social group. It is called my friends and family. Kind of old fashioned, huh.

I have 4 pages on Facebook.  Personal, business, local and sports pages.  I utilize all of them at times to promote business but mostly each have a use in their own zone.  It is all about being searchable.
