I have not spoken with any Vets today. I did think about swinging by my Great Uncle's gravesite, since he was KIA in WWII. I could also swing by both of my grandfathers' graves as well I suppose.

Today is about remembering those that paid the ultimate sacrifice to serve our country, so I thanked them in my morning prayers, including my family members that have gone before me. While the living Vets and active duty personnel never discourage being thanked today, they prefer the meaning of the day is not lost on today's well meaning citizens.

None. Many veterans will say thanking them for their service should be done on Veterans day or any other day, except Memorial Day. Memorial Day is for honoring deceased veterans.
