Bigly. 30% ish. I am always cross-pollinating! 😈
Buyers/tenants = usually referred out. Unless we want them badly.
I know a lot of people at this point, so I usually already have somebody in mind, otherwise I'll contact whoever might know somebody.
So, my network & my AZ/NV CCIM chapters, depending on what I'm looking for.
AR has a fairly large number of non-participants in the referral network. That doesn't help me when I'm looking for someone with whom I'm familiar.

Hi Paul - I don't know the number/percentage off the top of my head--that's not important for me but finding the best referral match for the client is very important. The sources vary by location and my past experience. I have/My Clients have teported/relayed great success stories of connections that have made originally in the Rain.

Very little sending out to negligible. Most people move to AZ, and no out.

Not very high for sending out... Charlotte is more of a destination city than one from which people move... but I do send out anywhere from 2-5 referrals each year and I use AR and the RE/MAX network, but always look for a CRS inside those networks... depends on whom I'm referring and to where. You know that when/if I have a Tacoma person, I'll be sending them to you, Paul.

I seem to have more referrals moving to NH than moving out. Most seem to be relocating in late summer early fall who are retiring to warmer clients. Then i like to use AR to find a good agent

Florida also is a more of a destination market but I do send out referrals and it fluctuates. Sometimes I am selected for a referral and cannot help because it's out of my area, so I just help them find an agent who can help. CRS and AR are at the top of my list, sometimes WCR as well.

Very small, I use AR & my REMAX system. I find it's hard to find the correct market areas when sending referrals.

Not enough, but i'm happy to connect my people, sometimes they are realtors, most of the times they are different professions. Whoever needs a referral, I'm happy to help.

I typically send out 1-1.5/month.
I use CRS, AR and then RE/MAX...You are the rare exception that has all of those bases covered, Paul!
I have found that CRS & AR combos are flawless transactions. We just have to take care to note that those who claim to be CRS agents are, indeed, CRS agents. I've run into that hiccup a time or two!

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®,CRS, - you mean out to other real estate agents? About 2 deals a year.
It goes to my Buffini & Company circle and ActiveRain contacts. Depending on how close I am to someone.

I use Activerain and CRS and my personal referral network to place the referral with the right agent. Sending referrals is less than 10% of my business.

I refer more locally, in my own marketplace, than outside of it. There was a time when you got a referral where the Buyer or Seller would need your expertise as to what your community offered or what price point would the subject property be placed. Post Internet a Seller approaches you to list their home and you ask if you can refer them a topflight professional in that area. However your Seller/buyers already have their kids in soccer camp, know the best pizza place, houses of worship, transportation, etc. They've already gone on-line and previewed houses in the area they wish to relocate to. AND usually they've already made contact with an agent and he/she referred them YOUR competition! At one time my referrals recieved were mostly from fellow CRS designees. However, many have retired. KW has a huge Facebook referral page and a few agents in our office regularly troll the page issuing referral agents in hopes of getting something for them. I remember Gary Keller tracking KW referrals and was startled at how little we did. KW is on a big track for referring clients and as usual is very aggressive in their campaign. But the way Buyers and Sellers gather information is so radically different nowadays its hard to get between them and their moving area before the big look begins!

I haven't had very many referrals in the 20+ years as a Realtor. Most likely less than 3%. I usually refer to a RE/MAX Realtor in the community they are searching. I call the Broker or Manager and have them handpick someone that will take great care of my client.

Paul ~ About 10% and my first choice is through CRS... it is a bonus if they do have an AR account though.

I do use AR ... my focus in NOT on CRS it is on the agent I feel is the best fit for the client.
I really don't give a rats bottom if they have a CRS designation. If they do, so be it.

About 1-3%; no more than that. We use Activerain, unless we already have a solid relationship with an agent in the intended locale
