I don't upload from my phone - my fingers are too big! LOL
I prefer to use my laptop for that but, even with my laptop, on occasion, I will get the sideways shots. It is annoying, for sure!

If I take my photos by turning my iphone sideways, the photo will load correctly.

Standard procedure for Iphone photos - stop doing it or import to pic correction software. Old problem.

Yes, I've had this happen to me too! It doesn't happen all the time so I'm not quite sure how to fix the issue.

I rarely do anything on AR on my phone. I get my posts and comments done on my home computer.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®,CRS, - I use my laptop only for ActiveRain blogging.

In what direction are you holding your phone - you should hold it sideways with the eye facing up

I haven't used anything other than our office PC when I'm on ActiveRain. Wait.. I actually take that back. I once logged in via my iPhone and I remember the photos and text being incredibly narrow and elongated. It was a little strange, to say the least - however, no pictures displayed sideways that I can remember... - Tim
