People appreciate them and if available or if I have time to draw them up I include them.

If the seller has floor plans, I will add to the marketing materials.

I wouldn't say they are in or out in my area - they aren't really that common, at least in the listings. I agree with Ron and Alexandra Seigel that having a professional create them is probably best. With newer homes owners often have them from the builder.

Floor plans are definitely in, in our area, and in Los Angeles County.  

The practice varies by agent in our area. I typically include them with each listing. The cost depends on the size of the property. 

They are required here on every listing - either by measurements (appraisal style) or actual floorplans.

I pay $125 for mine - they are professionally measured and drawn.

I'd estimate 10% or less offer floor plans in my area.

we have floor plans done if the home has a different floor plan....if it's the typical cookie cutter home, we usually don't do a floor paln....

Buyers really like them. Our area is high tech and very logical. Some buyers prefer to see floor plans over photos. It is very common to hire an appraiser to do measurements and a floor plan. 

Unless it's new construction, I rarely see floor plans in residential. In CRE, we use existing floor plans & CAD drawings quite a bit. Usable/rentable square footage is as exact science as we can make it. Lots of $$ can depend on it.
The client and/or their architect are most likely going to generate those plans. There have been times that we have drawn them up in simple and unofficial form, to get/give an idea. I've seen permit files with drawings a lot worse than mine! LOL

This is true. It would depend on the house, usually if it's a custom the seller has them. With a subdivision house, easy to use builder.

I seem to be the only person doing that & I don't know why. I'd like to have it as a buyer.

I've seen them around $125 like Debe said.

Floor plans are not common here. I love looking at them though!

Corinne Guest, Managing Broker - surprisingly, the floor plans are 'in thing' in our area.

I've only had a couple people request them and those were out of state buyers. Most of the condos here include unit floor plans in their condo docs so it is fairly easy to get one if you need it.

The big builders offer a marketing floor plan sketch but not the full blueprint type. Buyers like to see at least that much.

I can't say if they are in or out... as very few agents do them. I ALWAYS do a floorplan and have for 20 years. After more photos it seems to be the second most requested thing from buyers. And I get an accurate, defensible square footage with them, which saves me time. My floor plans cost anywhere from $90-150 depending on size of home. A really large home could run me $200-250. I know my guy charges $600 for homes over 10,000 square feet, but I've never listed on quite that large.

I sometimes upload the floor plan if I helped the clients buy, and have it.   

Not cheap, but usually it is a part of a photography package. I think, less that 10% of all listings offer floor plans. I would not say buyers or sellers feel ''wow'' if fliers/marketing materials have them. 

When available, they are included; nice to have. Usually there for new condo complexes. I think there are APP's for floor plans, but I have not looked into them.

What is becoming popular is 3D tours like Matterport which provide a floor plan. I would only do them for a more up market listing.

they are just not a thing here.  I've had them in less than 1% of listings and people never ask for them.

Floor plans are valuable, but not very many are given around here.

Corinne Guest, Managing Broker I usually provide a floor plan NTS for informaiton only to give potential clients an ideal of the layout. For lease purposes, measurements usually meet BOMA standards.

Not used here as much as I would like to see.

I will provide on request if owner has them available.

Depending on purpose, I can sketch one myself WITHOUT dimensions if the purpose is to understand the layout.  OF course 'Buyer should verify' will be unmistakeable.

Very rarely are floorplans part of marketing here.  Personally, they do not appeal to me.
