I always learned to include the "r" and do pronounce it.

I’ve always known it as FebRuary. With the R. .. and pronounce it Feb-roo-airy :)

Since going through Catholic school, the nuns made sure we said it correctly with or without the Chicago slang thrown in.

I talk about this all the time, people speak badly most of the time & I just don't care to correct them. 

Good God. I hear this wrong on commercials and newscasts and I want to hurl. It is FEB-bRu-a-ry. Spelled like it's said. Omit the first R and you're kicked out of my voice class.

"Black history month" is how I pronounce it.

Being conservative with the alphabet letters, only time is when Twitter said you are over the limit... remove one somewhere. I add the "R" the hardest working letter in the entire alphabet right Fred Griffin ?

Just like Bob Crane I spell it with the R but do not pronouce it.

English is a second language for me.  I write it with the first "r" but spell without the first "r".  Not sure whether that's because of my tongue :)

I didn't know there was an option.  I did a quick check, and it appears that because of the way it is commonly pronounced Feb-u-ary is so common the dictionary started including it?  If they are, it's dumb because lots of words are pronounced differently than their phonetic spelling.

I wasn't aware that anybody spells it without the extra "r".  When pronouncing it... well, I just say "That month after Janrooairy".

I spell it with the R....and I don't pronounce the R.... 

Also with the extra r, it gives me practice with my cursive writing!

I didn't know there was an alternate way to spell February. This is the only way I've ever spelled it and everything else I've considered a typo or mistake. I do pronounce both "r's".

Learn something new here every day - had no idea you could spell it without the R.  Always have pronounced it with the R silent.

Include the 'r" & it's a silent "r". 

It has never occured to me to spell the word without the "r" or to pronounce it without the "r." But, I suspect the pronounciation is very much a regional issue.

I've never heard of it being spelled "febuary"  when I spell it I was say in my head feb-ru-ary.  Outload it's "febuary"
