I use eEdge, and it is tied into my placester website, but in the end more of my leads come straight from the Active Rain contact box.

Noah,
Your profile suggests you are in the business of providing 'sevices' to real estate agents and perhaps brokers.
The question suggests you are looking for access to MLS data without paying for it by paying the MLS for the feed.
The question you need to ask is where does the MLS send the information, how do franchises control (or not control) the listings on their websites and finally the reality THEY ALL SEND IT TO THE EVIL EMPIRE.
The actions of 'THEY ALL' make much of what I percieve you are doing mostly irrelevant.
The appearance of Top Producer on your list suggests you are stuck in a legacy mindset. That compels me to ask,,and I'm serious....what are you tying to achieve?
Creating a suite to market to agents?
Create a suite for you to use in your real estate agent business?
Or simply to circumvent the MLS IDX fees?

You need to up your tech talking to this bunch. Get a IDX that you like then. IMHO Top Producer sucks & has for the last 20 years. You can do so much better than that lame company.

Does your State Association offer IDX? Is it free? Is it any good?

Annete,
Yes my profile does suggest that I am in the business of providing Services to Real Estate Agents. As far as circumventing MLS IDX, this is a terrible idea, although relatively irrelevant to my main question, which is suggestions and discussion on system combos to maximize ROI and Lead Capture Volume.
Here is the Goal broken down: keeping full automation in mind:
1. Maximize Lead Capture through SEO, SEM SMM, all online platform
2. Full automation Routing of leads from all sources into middle router and CRM
3. No limitations to the scalability of anything
What do you use for your CRM Annete? Have you ever used Top Producer?

Personally I don't think it is terrible to pay for an IDX feed even though it does not have the importance it used to have.

I'm actually with you on this Noah. I spent much time on this too. With FlexMLS we can do an iframe with the MLS data, but that doesn't work well with Google. Best I could find was doing a manual export of a query and importing it into my wordpress database. Time consuming. I looked into Perl to automate some of this or scrape it, but I just don't have the time to learn it.
Not a fan of the $150 for the MLS setup and whatever the IDX vendor wants to charge. Was not a fan of the hosted ones either.
