There is nothing I hate more than lazy listing agents. And then sellers wonder why their homes don't sell.

I have seen this in my MLS, I think is laziness in part of the listing agent(s). 

I see that all the time. GPS doesn't always work, and many newer roads don't show up on gps.

Unacceptable! Will report to MLS every time. You can't buy what you can't find.

Anyone with a smart phone just has to click on the address and their phone will take them there.

But for many of our properties we need to send waypoints or shapefiles since there is no address.

Wow talk about working in your clients best interest.  This is the type of thing that give professionals a bad name.

There is an agent in our market who ALWAYS puts that in the map coordinates section and directions...  Not acceptable.  

The could have at least expanded on the reason, such as: "Complicated.  I recommend GPS.  And bring a gun."

Agents have been doing that for a long time - they used to often say Mapquest. Not surprising but annoying and I have reported it

      I need to try that, and see if I get a "warning/correction needed" letter from the MLS committee.   On second thought, maybe not.

I would suggest this if you need to manually set a location not in Google like a new subdivision.

GPS is not always right, especially in rural areas. I like to provde cross streets as even some private roads or hoa road are not in gps

I don't wonder why...I know it is coming ... yet my Quote I share with all "People Count; Numbers Don't"  focus on people and your business will be great....the internet is a channel to make it easier/hard but the person is the one who communicates that information or NOISE.....

Agents do that here.  I wish there was a rule which prohibited it.

Anybody WITHOUT gray highlights will ask "What's the problem?"

What I see with this, is next! It would have to be truly a one-of-a-kind for me to have further interest.

I can't see what you mean but our MLS we can have it do a tour for listings. No thinking, just start the car.

Millennials don't do as much direct communication as other generations have . Instead much of it is done on their cells and online .So this doesn't surprise me at all.

I get equally upset with agents that fail to input room dimensions, school information etc. It's more than just lazy in my opinion its a disservice to their client the SELLERS.

I see lazy agents doing this too, as this is a field that must be completed.

It is because lazy agents are making these companies rich instead of making themselves known

Instant gratification and access to the information is why. People want it now!

Raymond E. Camp This is funny because if you put my address in the GPS it will take you to three houses down the street. This is a cop out and laziness for not putting in the directions.

That's just agents being lazy with other agents.  I've done it once or twice years ago, but now give very basic two street out directions.  Mine usually confuse because I give directions like "Turn North" instead of turn left.   :)
