It's easy to accomodate that these days with e-sign services as they have access to that document any time using the link. Our office is using DotLoop. If they sign manually I try to take a picture using scanning app to give it to them, so I don't forget.
My understanding is certain documents like real estate contracts have to be provided to all parties as it's a binding legal agreement. In addition, certain contracts might have that requirement written in the contract itself.
For example, in Florida Listing Agreement has to be provided to the customer within 24h:
Per Section 475.25(1)(r), Florida Statutes, the Florida Real Estate Commission may discipline a licensee for failing to provide a principal with a copy of the legible, signed listing agreement within 24 hours.
So, I guess, it depends what documents...
But this is just my 5C I'm sure someone will have a better answer. Hope it somehow helps. :)
