No blizzard here but it is down to 38* and we will have highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s for the next couple days. The heater is cycling and we are dressed appropriately. Missing my shorts, tank top and flip flops, though...

What's it take to prepare for one of these, they happen all the time and we are always ready.

Eggs- Check. Milk- Check. Bread- Check. I hit Trader Joe's, I'm good. 

We live in New England Praful Thakkar ... snow plow all gassed up, like Captain Dan on the mast of the USS Bubba Gump Bring it on! Ready or not, here we go. You'll be fine as long as you stay off 128, 93. Snow is part of living in a winter wonderland right? Get some snow skis, play pond ice hockey, snow shoe, embrace it!

The only Blizard i'm fighting now is my mac that suddently got gaga....and I was not prepared for that.

We're ready here in Delaware. It's snowing and blowing out there. The snow will most likely be around until Monday when temps will be in the 40s.

We're usually prepared for storms year round.

63 degrees out here in Silicon Valley. Wifes thinks it is cold for her....

I feel I'm always as prepared as I'm going to be - we have gas fireplaces and range so, we can last for a while with no power! There's always enough food to feed an army in two freezers too...it might be a good way to put some of it to use!

Pellet stove and house generator. We're ready. But no blizzard in our forecast yet. Just cold. -Kasey

I am not prepared for a blizzard but would get prepared if one was coming. We are at 20 degrees and the grader came yesterday so our roads are decent. Snow and cold temps are part of the reason that I like working from home - I can hunker down. :-)

Ready. Quite in the midst of it. Hope not to have to go anywhere. Our Boston daughter working from home.

We don't get blizzards but our power goes out once in a while.  No special preps except plenty of food in the house and a gas propane grill for cooking.

Luckily, here in Florida, we just need to bundle up a little more. I put on gloves today but I still saw someone wearing flip flops (without socks!) Hope you are staying warm and safe.

We got a little rain here yesterday ... not a lot but a consistent flow for several hours.  I was ready.  What I was not ready for was the 4.4 earthquake at 2:35 am this morning which jolted me out of bed.

Yes, very prepared, I moved to San Diego. And I'm never too busy for your referrals to the land of "best Winters". 

I'm as prepared as I'm ever going to be.... my home is very warm... the pellet stove is cranking.... I'm comfortable and working... tv is on in the background .... all electronics are fully charged....and I'm ready for a workout when the snow is almost over....

We are very well prepared here Praful Thakkar we've been through blizzards before in my area... Going through a horrible deep freeze at the moment...

Blizzard in the north east, a tropical storm in Florida.  We all have out natural challenges we must prepare for wisely.

Fortunately I do not need to be...but I hope that those that will be affected by the storm are ready!

I've had All-wheel drive for years, and after last year's big storm (big for us, that is) Kat purchased an all-wheel drive car as well.  We've found that no matter how cozy our home can be; or how nasty it may be outside - when Cabin Fever hits you must GET OUT!!!

Praful Thakkar We woke up to some snow this morning. Not much to shovel in the driveway. Had the snow blower tuned up this last Spring, so I am ready for any real snow.

I shiver thinking of the consequences of -14 Degrees and an ice laden tree taking the power lines down.

When the power goes out in Florida we get really hot. Power goes out at -14 degrees and a world of real life imperiling trouble lies ahead.

I guess that is why fireplaces are prominent in New England.
