It SNOWED this morning, measurable snow, in Florida. They closed Interstate 10 and two U.S. Highways today because of snow and ice. Right now it is 24 degrees on my porch. It is teeth chattering, knees knocking cold.
All showings are canceled until further notice!

I would definitely show houses. As for land, I would show if it wasn't too icy/snow covered. I do have wool socks, toe warmers, winter boots, long johns, a very warm coat, hat, gloves, etc. I'm game! Oh, and snow shoes, but not for my client(s)!

Yes, I would.. just pile on the layers, wear a hat and gloves, and a good pair of boots and a scarf to cover your face if necessary.... but only if I know it's a serious buyer....

Even in double negative digits, for land frozen ground is often a blessing that allows us to get to those areas that require walking on water.

Thank you all for your answers! Looks like we are a group of go getter's. Now my answer is NO. I will not go look a a parcel of land listed for $20,000 with a buyer who is just wanting to see what it looks like and does not have proof of funds. The temp was 7 and windchill -23, with a warning not to be outside more than 10 minutes due to any exposed skin suffering frost bite.

I laughed at Lyn Sims comment, my yoga instructor always says "suck it up buttercup". I had to deal with several issues all morning, tenants starting calling at 630am letting me know they had no heat. I wasn't showing homes but had no choice but to go out this morning, it was 31 degrees, that's very cold for us.

Not an issue in Florida.
However, temperature, I think, would be less a factor than snow coverage.
If I could walk it I would show it.
However, I may require the buyer to put their tongue on the flag pole.

Showed a home and outbuildings on 10 acres at -3 F yesterday. I think it was -1 F at my next showing. Showed an unheated HUD home last week at -13 F. Nobody pays my bills unless I do and selling real estate is how I do it. We went 5+ days in a row last week without getting above zero. Wait until our gas and utility bills come.
