Clan/tribe? seriously?

    The proposed new Florida Real Estate Commission rules will limit you to either "Team" or "Group".   You can forget about posse, brigade, or any of the words on this list:

I have no idea! I know that many states are no longer allowing 'real estate' or 'realty' in the name, among others.

Check with your state real estate commission before applying for a name with the Secretary of State.

Ours is called Woodland Real Estate, a continuation of the theme started 30 years ago with Woodland Management Service, Woodland Investment Properties, and Woodland Construction.

Not sure if it is powerful, but it is part of a recognized brand in the Forestry Community of Wisconsin.

Fred Griffin nailed it... My opinion is ifone isvgood who needs a team to succeed?  All one really needs is a great support network of inspectors, closers and others!

No idea... I don't do teams and pay no attention to them.

Since I am not in the market to be looking for a team to represent me, I cannot answer that question. Most teams have the agents name paired with team or group. I feel no attraction.

Clan might be good if your a Brit or in Ireland. Seems lame here. Tribe is even worse - Kolenda Real Estate Tribe?

I would go easy on the "tribe" label unless you are a First Nation settler or whatever is PC. Clan makes me think of Scots fighting for their homeland to free it from occupation like in Wallace in "Braveheart". Unit sounds like R2D2. Or Frank Zappa's Moon Unit child name. Didn't he have a kid named Dweezil too? Group sound big and impersonal. The Guy With The Hawaiian Shirt that looks cold... Team sounds like you have the real estate field covered nicely. Go team!

I've heard of team & group, that's about it here in the Nutmeg state. 

Group and Team are more popular here, but seems like many people are getting tired of " Team".

They need to do that here in NH has team names are out of control who work under a broker. Usually the big companies where it does look like a company within a company. The law says the brokerage name has to be displayed predominately but they are getting away with their name larger than the brokerage name???

I think it is the 'work' that attracts, not the name...

Tribe is too overused, yet, I never heard it or clan or unit in reference to RE team. 

You need to follow the rules in your state when considering wording.

Clan may get you the wrong attention...

California recently joined Florida with a list of prohibited terms and guidelines on team names, advertising, signs, etc.

Check your state and local rules. 

mine is branded in my town, so my name is the best team name....

I don't have a clue.  But, in Florida, it's not legal to call a team "group"

Donald Kolenda "Home Team", but I think it is over used.

Teams.... I can't offer you advice on the best name or words to use, but it will be a hot subject-matter in 2018.
