I'll admit to not truly understanding the whole "tag thing".  With that being said, I throw all kinds of them to my entries:  name, company, address, topic, area, zip codes.  No clue if any of it helps and I should add the whole topic to my "things to learn" list.  

i actually stopped using the tags. I didn't see much purpose in them.

Name, location, relevant key words to the post and San Diego real estate.

My name, Subject location, subject of blog, intended audience (such as new real estate agent) name of any person or company mentioned in blog such as Honest Tea. Franchise and broker and broker location city (Palm Harbor) in addition to subject location. Sometimes I'll tag the ingredients of a good pumpkin pie.

Normally the tag relates to the subject matter.

More than tags, it is important to use key words in your first paragraph, for me usingManchester NH, Home, Buyer, seller etc

It depends on the content of the post.  I  have a separate blog where I use tage, probably  6-7... I also have Yoast installed on my Word Press site.. and it has a tool to assist with SEO and Readability.. It tells me what I have to do to increase the SEO and readability.

Usually related to the story, the company name and my name

I haven't used them on here for years.  But, on my own blog, I may just use a couple of tags that are related to the article.

Lots of tags!  They may or may not help with search and SEO, but they are helpful to me when I need to track down an older post.

Just like "localism" in your post, make your tags detailed and specific.

Whatever is relevant to the post. I never tag myself or my location unless the location is part of the tag like, 'Charlotte Homebuyers' or something similar.

Tags that are related to the content of the post.

I tag relevant to the subject of the post.  My round-ups and Second Chance Saturdays have the most tags.  I do not tag my name or location.  If I wan an active agent, I would probably do that.

As many as I can fit or until I quit! I use tags on Twitter more than AR but when I do they do include the location #Danbury #Bethel #Brookfield #NewMilford and others like #Ctrealestate #Ctrealtor #CTshortsales #CTHomes #JustSold #JustListed ... you get the idea

It varies, depending on the post. I rarely tag my name or company unless it relates to the subject matter of the post.

I always tag my name. That is a given for branding. Tagging location is a great idea, I have not been as good at remembering to do that one. I tag as many as I can depending on the content of the post. 

Just a few, mostly topical and some location based.

I don't usually tag on AR.  When I do use hashtags, I do include my company name in there and I'll put as many as seem appropriate in the body.  When I'm at my computer (and I remember to) I'll make the first comment be full of tags relating to real estate.  Just be careful not to get shadow banned from having too many unrelated ones (like tagging MAGA or the latest trending tag) to try and get more views.  Allegedly the sites are onto that tactic now.

I try to limit the tags to two or three.  I don't believe it matters for anything other than for searching within the site.

I am not very good with these so only use a couple that relate to the blog topic.

I try to use one-word tags. The tags are more for my searching than for Google juice.

I may be doing this but I really do not know for sure.
