I know all that I need to know about KW.  If I were to refer a client to YOU Bob it would be because of YOU not the brokerage you are affiliated with. 

I'm so with Kathleen Daniels on this - you would get my referrals no matter who you hung your license with, Bob.

I honestly think the pyramid scheme is a huge turn-off to most agents. It reminds us of the 'warm body' challenge and in my heart & mind, that's not what our profession is about. 

Had an agent pair door knock me two days ago.  Told them I was an agent and they went into a schpiel on KW trying to recruit me.  Had to tell them "Sorry, not interested.  I get 100% of my commission and I do what I want because I run the company."

Sorry... not me. I tried KW for a while... not quite my cup of tea to recruit this way and even when they convinced me to join them I warned them upfront I would never, ever recruit ot make phone calls.  At the end of the day, I can recruit or I can sell real estate. If I wanted to recruit I'd get a job as one. Also what Kathleen Daniels said!

I am a fan of you but frankly NOt a fan of KW. They keep courting me and my answer is "NO. Please stop asking!".

I am so glad you are happy. I spent tonight with many agents from my local Association that are totally content with their KW choice. I respect your decision and know you are not one to make a quick and uneducated knee-jerk jump without careful thought.

Big ditto on Kathleen Daniels comment!  ...though I'm curious what Debe Maxwell, CRS means by pyramid scheme in connection with KW.

Bob, sorry for being lame, but for me it is also about people and not about the name of your broker. Good luck with your challenge. It is very thoughtful of you to help other agents.

I have a lot of great agent friends at KW and used to take a lot of classes with them. They definitely have great training and a culture that a lot of people love to be a part of, though it's not for everybody. Best wishes Bob! -Kasey

Good luck with your challenge Bob. I know if I had a referral I'd send it to you no matter what company you were with. I think the challenge rather than recruiting agents should be to help a 100 people in buying or selling real estate..... That is what our business is all about!
