I work probate - with attorneys and personal representatives. Everyone has a unique need. The way we help is designed to their specific needs.

     Not a niche for me, but I have worked several transactions where the "children" in their 50's or 60's were selling the parents' house, and either downsizing Mom and/or Dad, or moving them to assisted living. 

     Lots of emotions involved.  Be sure a CPA and an attorney are involved.

I work probate, nursing home moves and such. It is very hard with some family members. Harder then the seniors by far

I do not, but it is worth pursuing if you can network with probate attorney's and personal representatives!

our niche is new construction, and we love selling land to our developers and obtaining approvals for active adult communities.... big demand for 55+ new communities and baby boomers.... I do target marketing to the boomers....

I work with anyone that needs help with their real estate needs.

I think it is a specialty worth pursuing but I work with investors.

If you're looking for a niche and if your kind/compassionate and trustworthy, it's a great one.  I've been writing blogs posts on some of these topics for 2 of my clients.  One is a home care provider and the other is an investor who buys houses for cash and then flips them.

I prefer working with people who I want to work with and who want to work with me in achieving their real estate goal(s).   

Knowledgeable or able to learn. 

Loyalty. 

Ability to perform. 

Responsiveness.    

It's what I demand of myself and what I expect in return.

I work with everybody but you need to have certain connections for elder care or seniors. They need more help physically & become overwhelmed easily at the thought of moving.

Foreclosures have provided a good niche for me.

The best experience comes from doing. I have worked on many estates, friends and family and through doing those have gained a lot of knowledge. Network with attorneys and show them you are knowledgeable.That is where the business starts on an arms-length level.

I am comfortable working without a specialty area -- gives me more diversity -- but it seems like a worthwhile direction for me to head since I'm there and can surely identify with those Boomers!!

I work with estate attorneys, banks, asset managers, estate sales, etc.

I don't put people into categories. Sick of hearing about " Millennials", " Under Thirty" crowd, special loan programs for nurses and police officers, etc. I'll work with anyone, at anytime, of any age, of any color, of any nationality, of any sex, etc, etc. They are buyers, sellers, landlords, or tenants.
