Gosh, I don't say anything clever when I do pop-bys - just wish them well for the season!

Most people don't want 'salespeople' knocking on their doors so, when you're just you, I think they're more appreciative. Just my humble opinion!

Pop bys are not meant to be accompanied with a sales pitch... It's just a way to stay in touch and say thank you for your business.  Wish them a safe and happy Hallowe'en..

Forget the "clever" crap...and forget what you programmed in you head.

Just be the genuine you...say whatever feels right at the moment.

It should only be "clever" if it is coming from you. Genuine is more important.

I'm not sure where the Buffini add on comes in, but think something like that is good enough to say when you do a pop by. 

I'm not into clever anything. Just be yourself.

My advice is NO sales pitch, you are suppose to leave a good and lasting impression and a sales pitch may leave a blah taste in their mouth

Well I think enough people have corrected you about pop by's. No sales stuff.

In the past I've made tags and put them around the stem.  I used "Happy Halloween to your Lil Pumpkin" and "Real Estate doesn't haven to be scary w/ me on your side"....    The tag can be clever but just "be you" with the interaction.  Have fun!

I've got nothing! I'd probably just let them know I was thinking of them and wishing them a wonderful Fall. Not creative or clever at all!

My thought:  If YOU don't know what to say then perhaps you are not comfortable dropping them off. Be authentic. Be yourself. Be REAL. 

No Gimmicks.  You don't need a clever thing to say to connect with people. You just need to be yourself. 

"I'll help you carve it! When should I come back?"

My wife did it with tomato plants. It costs then $1 a plant. Today, it is like $5 per household need to file bankrupcy after walking the block.

Just be who you are - keep it simple and friendly. 

Just greet them with a big smile and tell them that you will always appreciate their referrals.

I don't know if others who are not in real estate would know what a Buffini Sticker is - maybe they will think it's the name of your company Colleen Kelly.  I know when I drop off homemade Christmas cookies, I just say, "Merry Christmas - I'm Thinking of You - and Want to Wish you a Happy Holiday!"  There is no mention of real estate or that I'm a realtor - it's just more a smile and having a few words so that they know I remember them (our niche is an age-restricted community).  Not scripted at all.  I do think a pumpkin is a wonderful way to wish someone a Happy Fall and a Happy Halloween!

Only thing that comes to mind is "trick or treat"  ;).  Not sure why you need the Buffini sticker though, that won't mean anything to non-agents.  Just be genuine and wish them a happy fall/winter/etc.

How about including a recipe for a pumpkin pie or how to roast pumpkin seeds. You might be surprised that they might give it a try.
