CalFire.org has a link on thier site for volunteering and making donations.

There are numerous organizations helping with the relieve.  Contact one of them.

      As long as the money doesn't go to an institutional charity that will take half of the money for "administrative expenses".

KW Cares has been hard at work in our office raising funds for the Hurricanes and fires.  Another event going on today to raise more funds for these folks.

Fortunately, if properly insured, these people should be getting money right away from their insurance companies to buy clothing and other essentials and help cover expenses until they can rebuild.  It's a long painful process.

Nice of you to think of those less fortuante and play it forward.  There are many worthwhile charitable organizations. Choose wisely. 

A friend who retired and work at Red Cross as director of fund raising.  This year, Houston, Florida and now Santa Rosa.

REALTOR® foundations at the state and NAR level give a lot of money.

Many of the wineries have sent out enails saying to please keep buying their wines as it has been such an economic hit! If it is safe we plan to go there next month. I have a friend who lives there so I may take some things to donate.

There are disasters occurring World-wide. From Houston, to Puerto Rico to these wildfires. We all do the best we can and share as much as possible. Life ain't easy!

Donate money to churches in the local area. They tend to comprise the majority of help and work for free, ensuring the money goes to the people needing help and not to administrators.

There are many ways to support fire victims via various organizations.

I'm not from California, but we are praying and broken-hearted for all those who have lost lives and personal belongings and homes.  Sounds like a very generous plan for the friendly realtors in the area.

NAR has a fund just for that. I am sure the local associations are reaching out to the membership to see that they are included. Maybe California Realtors also have a relief fund. That would be the next place to check. There are many places to give and the Red Cross is always a good place to start.

I usually do not donate to causes only to victims directly.  That way I know they get the entire amount
