Nope.  It's expected for homes to have dual paned windows these days, but that's it.  Solar still has a very negative view out here (and in sunny SoCall to boot!) and unless you plan on living in your house for 30 years or paying cash for the system, I always advise against it.  There are several instances out here where people are paying considerably MORE for their own solar power than they would have paid for power from the power company!

Green lawns are back in style again, drought tolerant is a negative again.

I wish I could see more Green homes in my hood, but usually those are limited to energy efficient features and improvements to older houses ( appliances, solar panels, window and door frames) and not fully sustainable spaces.

No. I think people care about proper insulation, low-wattage bulbs, high-efficiency furnaces, and things that save them money.  Zeroscaping, solar panels, and other "green" technologies don't have much draw here.

In the last 2-3 years, they have added "Green Fields" to our MLS. So you can disclose spray foam ins, Geothermal, LEED, and other green features.

Yes!  If you look back at the NAR Surveys you'll see that 86% of consumers are either concerned or somewhat concerned about their energy bills.  The market for energy efficient homes is being fueled by competition amonst production builders in Phoenix.  They can easily build a much more energy efficient home thanks to rebates and incentives for not a whole lot more.  I just met with our Corporate connection at the US Green Building Council last night ( I am the Residential  Commitee Chair for USGBC in Arizona.)   2 home builders in the Phoenix area will start building production built LEED Certified homes very soon - the most stringent certified energy efficient home available - so my ansywer is YES.  I assume you mean resource efficient as in sustainable features.  There are several elements of sustainable construction in LEED Certified homes.  Resource efficient might mean renewable resources, ie bamboo flooring, cork flooring and wall tiles, recycled content finishes, retrofitting with these same items.  And of course the most efficient homes is the existing home.  Building homes adds a lot of carbon to the environment so if we can retrofit the existing housing stock we'll save a lot of carbon from being emitted into the atmosphere!

The word "green" in the energy efficient construction world is going away.  You should know that they are now referred to as Highly Efficient homes.  The word green can mean many things to many people.  Some people thin of it as good indoor air quality, no toxic finishes, no VOC paints.  All of these elements are included in most energy star homes, but all of the LEED Certified homes.  So be mindful of how you refer to "green." Okay I'll get off my soap box!

No demand but lots of curiosity.

Few are willing to pay the premium 'resource efficient homes' justify.

Sellers tend to say, "I guess I overdeveloped. But I enjoyed it!"

New construction which is the Green Home source,  would sell whether it was green or purplely.
