Yes, although it's been a bit finiky of late.  I set alerts for all my listings too.  Used this frequently in my corporate days.

Mention.com is also a good site for this, but it only hits social media (which is something Google Alerts is not great at getting).

We haven't done so, but it's a great idea!

Hi Inna -- yes, I do but with my common name I receive a lot of information about a European football(as Dick Greenberg tells me the "real football") player and an Illinois political guy masquerading under "my name".

Since setting up Google alerts is pretty easy, yes I have mine set up for my name.  But I don't think it works very well.  Once in awhile I'll get an alert on a blog post I've written but I'd think I'd get an alert each and every time I post something, and that doesn't happen.

I am not sure I set up for my company name. I need to check into that. I get alerts frequently for press dealing with Jeff Daniels and his wife and many with my name who have died.  I did not know there are so many Kathleen Daniels!

You should set yourself up and any keyword of interest for any internet notices. I have been setup for years and years...
