No can't say I am seeing that. Homes are selling, but some are sitting if there are not priced well.

Real sellers are still selling as are real buyers in California(I imagine elsewhere too). The seasonal impact is not as much of a factor as it may be in other parts of the country.

I do think it will slow dow a bit as we near the holidays. For now it seems as strong as midsummer.

I don't personally believe that fall impacts sales all the negatively. I am always busy in the fall.

I'm with Jeff Dowler and Michael Jacobs on this one. Even though there is a shift I can't say it's all bad. Serious buyers are going to get more for their money and sellers as well if they are priced correctly.
We gear up for a very busy last Quarter every year and knock on wood....It's beginning to keep the pace.
I think it's more of a mindset and agents shut down for the upcoming holiday season...which by the way seems to come sooner every year. Christmas trees in Costco 3 weeks ago and now in Macy's too...
Tis' not yet the season in my mind!

We do see a slow down in fall. I am curious what the September data will show once it is published.

Homes that are priced under $250,000 are getting snatched up real fast. The ones that sit on the market for months are the overpriced ones.

We don't have Fall in San Diego, CA; just near endless summer until mid-December-March.

It was slow in August, but right after the Labor Day Holiday was over, it picked back up.

Fall is the best season for buyers. July and august is the rush time for home buyers. But fall is the best time fior buyers low tax, best offers in appliances.

I am personally, thankfully busy but, our numbers are down the past few weeks here in Charlotte. We are seeing more price reductions than in the past year and more expireds as well. NOW those overzealous sellers are anxious to SELL their homes!

We've sold off most of our listings. We have five homes under contract right now but I don't see much else in the near future. Rentals are still moving!

In NH, we see a great boost in sales in fall. It can be as busy as the spring market. Lots of new listings and a steady flow of buyers. I think in the spring we see more dreamers where people looking now, are ready, willing and able to buy
