There are many ways to spend a day in the Los Angeles area --- while traffic near the various stadiums may require some extra patience and knowledge of detours, the fun here continues practically non-stop.   

I am always impressed by the crowds and support college football towns receive.

There are a lot of crazy places on game day, but it is hard to beat Tallahassee or Gainesville!! The ACC and SEC are crazy conferences. Here in Chicago, no way!

We have all the pro sports here in metro Phoenix, as well as college teams and such. It does affect our market quite a lot.

I am in alignment with Michael Jacobs comment. The only difference is that I am several hundred miles North.  Planning is essential when there is a game or other activity.

Yes, showing homes in our Uptown Charlotte area during Panther games is next to impossible! However, much of the city are such huge Carolina Panther fans that no one wants to go house shopping during game time! 

We do not have a sports team. We are most impacted by tourism -which happens mostly in summer, but secondly during the winter ski season.

When the amazing New England Patriots play, we expect attendance at open houses to be lower than usual. Sometimes, we'll have the TV on for those who wander in!

Some of the best football games i have ever been to were coming to Tallahassee for the games. Such energy and hospitality. I sure to like college ball more than the NFL, but I do love watching my NE Patriots too. Sitting here watching the game now Fred Griffin

Nope. However, lots of people do attend Redskins games.

When the Broncos play, many watch, but this past weekend involving politics think that changed a bit.

Probably a sore subject....but I think they should've kept town open and focused less on this game...

No, San Diego is too large and besides, the turncoat Chargers abandoned SD.

We are mixed with football and basketball. Some will not miss a second of the game, others don't care a bit. Watch out for the first Saturday in May though! School is even canceled the Friday before.

the Patriots are playing Houston right now...all of my hung over family members are here eating and I'm watching the game!!

We have the (go back to saint louis) rams based in our city.  They suck so nothing happens here.

Sometimes- it just depends on how well the redskins are doing. With access by mobile these days, I think less people worry about staying home to watch football games on tv.

We are affected by many Florida teams, but not to that extreme.

We have a Minor League BB Team , but never over run

Not that shuts down the town!

Columbus, Ohio-Closed when Buckeyes play!

Even when The Cowboys play it does not shut the city down.

Fall weddings here are scheduled around Ohio State football games.

Rarely, we're a Military Beach town; not really any teams here anymore except the Padres and Gulls...yawn.

The SDSU Aztecs are fun to watch.

We now have 6 professional teams in Minnesota...but I am far enough away that we are not affected

Because we have such a diverse city centered around international industry and Ft. Campbell nothing seems to shut it down. There are many team alliances out of town and out of state.

There's a lot of activity on game days, Fred, whether professional sports or not... but the city is spread out enough that really you don't feel it much unless you are in the stadium areas.
