When doing a drive by inspecting a property, someone comes out stop your activity even on the road. They have been informed in writing someone will come unannounced. The don't read the letters. You tell them what you are doing they called the cops. This is a common inspection required by all lenders and insurance companies. Most home borrowers still think they own the home. The lenders, IRS do not think so.

 

Another challenge is you are greeted by a Mamaduke type dog when opened the door.
