I do recognize Wilbur Post but wasn't aware of the name Bamboo Harvester, his trainer or how he was able to make the horse move his mouth.   There are certain things that should be "magic".

Peanut butter!  I was just singing this theme song two weeks ago with my dog when we saw horses on our walk.  Go straight to the source and ask the horse, he'll give you the answer that you'll endorcse.  He's always on a steady course, talk to Mr. Ed.

I love cats :) And altough i agree with your statement, I do think that there is more involved than sound, like body language and how cats approach eachother and in what state they are (playfull, anxious, etc.)

I used to go to Universal studio a lot of my kids, they have there a show dedicated to animals in movies. The trainers do fantastic job by finding a write animal and training it for months to do what is required.
