It's healthier for you then sitting all day. They even have a treadmill desk if you feel really ambitious!

No but I have heard good things about them. I have also considered one as I have back issues. Will be curious to see what people say.

I haven't tried one, but have also thought about it.
Yes I bought one for Anna and she really likes it.
I have tried it, but it is more of a distraction than a benefit.
I've got the Varidesk adjustable desk and it's a game changer. Amazing how much more energy I have when I'm standing and working.
There is a great desk system that I checked out years ago but it was a little steep. Will see if I can find it. Moved from sitting to standing with a slight push.
One of the agents in the company just got one - and loves it! The bank manager at my bank uses one as well as does a lender in our building. They all love them.
My ex had a standing desk and explained me all benefits of it, but I'm still sitting...:)
Yes I have one Nathan and I love it! Easy to find online about 200+. My husband found mine and it matches my desk perfectly.
Of 5 people I know who were given standing desks none remain in use today after less than a year. I don't think the ergonomics of a standing desk has been completely thought out yet.
LOL Ray asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I asked for a Varidesk!! It was back-ordered and won't arrive until the 31st but, I suppose being back-ordered says something for the popularity.
I pace when I'm on the phone but, when I'm typing, I sit WAY too much time so, getting one of these seemed like the logical thing to do.
Nope. Many are advertised.
Some people like it, and some don't. You have to check it out for yourself. A
I so want one. It is on my bucket list. Those desk risers are a dream.
If I were still fully active, I would have one in my office along with a traditional desk! And, I would use it regularly for some back relief!
I have thought about it and checked them out. Instead, though, I bought a bar table specifically to stand at while working on my laptop. I felt it was more versatile than a stand-up desk unit. I can move it wherever I want in the house... in my office, in front of the TV, or wherever I want it.
My son in law uses one and loves it!
I don't use one but I find the concept intriguing and look forward to hearing/learning some first hand experience.
I haven't tried one but I have heard from others that have and they say once they get it they seldom use it.
I have not, but know that Marnie Matarese does in Sarasota and hers has a treadmill.
We do sit way too much generally, so let us know how the standing desk works out for you.
I would past on standing that much
I have a couple friends who have them and swear by them. Me, I'm not a fan.
shirley cicero nailed this one!
I have not; however, someone in our office has one and loves it.
I don't see the need personally - get up and walk around if you get stiff.
I just don't get how all of a sudden things are bad for us after we've been doing them for hundreds of years and no one ever complained.
No, I'll save the money and get up and stretch if I need to
Nathan Gesner - it is all about mindset.
If you believe this kind of a desk will help you, it will - go for it.
And after you purchase, if you feel it did not make any difference, that is true, too - so just don't buy it....
I am up and down all day and rarely stay at a desk more than an hour at a time. That is one reason I love this job.
I have not
I have one and I love it, I can't sit still for long hours, so varidesk works great for me. Before you buy one, try a tall-boy which is about the same height and wouldn't cost you more than $50.00. If you like it, get standing desk.
Nathan Gesner I've seen them advertised, but haven't tried one. Let us know how it does for you.
I like the idea, but it seems the fad has kept the price entirely too high for me. Just get up and walk around every half hour. I work from a laptop so lots of times I just move my work station.
Decades ago, I used to pace, walk around and take short breaks & then back to central control also known as the desk. Today, there is no ball & chain
I'm thinking about buying one for the office.... it's called CHANGEdesk....
