No. But in Oregon we don't have controversial statues, unless they count the two logger statues down by the Old Mill park in town. These get regularly "dressed up" in swim suits, Santa Hats, eclipse glasses, leis, and whatever else people dream up.

Not at all - removing Statues satisfies a few for a short time, and then they will move on.  If they think they are trying to change or eliminate history they haven't thought this one through.  It doesn't change the past Michael J. Perry, though it should be a Learning Lession that we can study, for  the future.  I do not see it affecting the housing market in our niche - since we deal with snowbirds, creating jobs is no longer an issue - and they no longer have kiddos in school nor living at home.
