I would think the agent and their managing broker would be getting an email that would document this unethical behavior.  I would be sure to cite from COE, and send the link to it, as well as attach a pic of the materials in house (to avoid disputation).  I would also take note of it so that if this agent phones for showing of any of my future listings, I would be sure I meet them at property.

Regardless of whether you tour your listings or not, that certainly sounds like an ethical violation and in many MLS systems an MLS violation as well. In our local MLS we have had several Pro Standards cases heard where agents have represented a listing as being their own by promoting it in marketing materials without the listing agent/brokerage permission.

I'd think that agent is a desperate soul.... I'd remove it.... I'd most likely call that agent and tell them to come to my office and retrieve their marketing materials.... I have no use for them....

That is beyond tacky and passes into the realm of unethical.  That agent and broker would be hearing from me and, trust me, I'd be doing the talking and they'd be listening! Depending on their response, the MLS and/or State Dept of Licensing would also be hearing from me.  

I've been told I could tell someone to go to Hell and they'd look forward to the trip. They'd be looking forward to that trip!

I would remove the promotional material and mail it back to the agent with a very stern warning from the NAR Code of Ethics (if they are members).

Then I would just forget about it and make sure not to spread ill-will about them. Nothing good comes from more gossip.

That happened to me at listing in Haymarket. The agent left several of her business cards and fliers that said " If you like this property, you should visit my listing nearby at 123 Main St." No refrigerator magnet though. I just removed them.
