I know when I am stuck which is the first step for me to know I need to shift. I am not always quick draw to make the shift ... yet I do. Happy Trials to you!

Congrats on the dedication to staying fit Anna.  I have never used a gym, but I do have a treadmill in my office that I spend time on occasionally.

I have taken many shifts over my career and preparing to take another one in the next few months. I am getting excited.

Pretty cool to look out from treadmill & see your mtn, wish I could hike with you.  BTW just finished my two mile walk down country road.  Tomorrow it's down to Lake Erie & back, three miles total

Yes, I shifted from practice wife #1 to my beautiful 4-ever-bride.

I shifted from SF to SD.

I shifted from re-sale to Short sales then up to luxury.

I've shifted the structure of my business 6 times in 14 years too.

I don't mind shifting at all - at first, I may 'dread' it a bit but, I know I have to so, I keep that positivity flowing!

Good for you for finding an alternative to your daily hikes, Anna. I actually thought about you the other day - wondering if you were still doing those in this heat. Glad to hear you've SHIFTED!!  ;-)

Great idea. I often think of using the treadmill somewhere instead of freezing to death here when it's -10. Glad you're having a great time with a great view!

Anaa, I think they way I put it is don't lose momentum and shift when necessary to get momentum going because it is difficult to get it back.

I go with the flow, which makes it easy for me to shift when life, or business, throws me a curve ball.

Anna, I like you think it's vitally important to be able to respond to changing circumstances with a new plan.  Whether it's your workout routine, a life changing event or something that happens in a transaction, being open to a different solution is vital!

For the most part, yes...but sometimes it takes me longer than others to get it in gear.

Right, I like to call it 'adaptation'. When circumstances change, you adapt and change.

Yes, indeed. We are alays shifting. And I don't get it, Sandy still gets all the $$$

"Shifting" is one of my specialties.  

It may not always be easy but adjusting/adapting/realigning is a part of life - or at least it should be. 

We're walking 3 miles evey morning - usually leaving before 6am...

As always, you have countered the challenge with a solution!  You could always move up to Indiana where we have only had a day or two in the low nineties so far this sumer.

When one thing doesn't....or can't work....for reasons beyond our control...ie snow storm...we cook our brains out....market shift...learn and adapt....no options and learning new skills is a great benefit.

Anna I really enjoy the gym, right now I am not a member but love the work out. I try to windusrf and walk my dogs with my wife. I have sold properties and made contacts in the gym.

I'm extremely good in shifting between subject and  be focused only on what I'm doing at the moment. Took years of practice. 

Yes, a lot of shifting going on here prepping for my new dog.

You have to shift to last in this business :-) I have never been able to get myself to go to the gym regularly though...-Kasey

I can shift on a dime.....anytime....no notice needed.... have done that with every changing market and every new niche....

Yes. I remain flexible. Instead of hiking, last night we went to Full Moon Yoga at Salamander Resort in Middleburg. Kathy did yoga while I hiked around the grounds taking photos.

Sometimes shifting is easier than other times!

I do it, but don't like to do it.

I seem to shift from being retired to a thriving business consistently lately.
