      Not in Tallahassee proper... it is not a tourist destination; everybody leaves town for the weekend.  However, I will post listings that are on the Coast (about 30 miles south of Tallahassee), because everybody comes here for the long weekends.

Yes, I would have no issue with posting a new Listing on a holiday weekend Coal Infantino.  In spite of the cook-outs, the parades, the family get-togethers, there are still folks out there looking at homes, and especially since alot have a 3 or 4-day weekend!

Sure, as soon as the home and the sellers are ready.  Memorial Day weekend is actually a buys weekend for real estate here.  One of my agents has written 2 offers and may write a third this weekend - buyers in town for the 3 day weekend.  No listings posted on Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter, however. -Kasey

It seems I must be in the minority here. I do plan and strategise as to when I make my listings live in the MLS. I would avoid going live on Holiday weekends. My preferred day is late on a Tuesday or by early Wednesdays. This way it has a chance to hit Realtor.com/Zillow+ others before the weekend. (some sites still take 2 days or so to display new mls listings) This then allows my homes to be found, and buyers call me or their agent to set up a weekend showing. Also, keep in mind Thursdays are the night each week with more people at home and it's on Thursday night people tend to set their weekend plans. (notice the best TV shows are on Thursday night! You'll also find more car commercials on Thursday nights than any other night because people are home watching, and making plans for their weekend!)

Many associating dictate how long an agent can hold a listing contract before submitting to MLS. In my area that is 3 days.

A contract signed Friday must be in the MLS by Monday. 
Of course the association and broker have a pile of forms the seller must sign, another pile of disclaimers, and another pile of 'full market exposure lies' before the home owner can actually do what THEY want.

As the grumblings of these victims grow louder, OfferPad starts looking better.
