You're not targeting the right recipients! True baseball fans would grab those. I would!

I dont think it relates to knowing you or not. If someone i didnt' know offered me free baseball tickets, I would pass since I am not a baseball fan. It just does not appeal to me. Also, those people may have other plans.
One option os to throw it out to your facebook frieds" First come first served" you probably would get some people scrambling asap for them

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 Free from a sales person seems to always have a catch. No free lunch!
Donate the tickets to your local radio station in your name and company. They could do one of those "Caller nine gets a free ticket to a game." You might get some free advertising out of it. Just a thought.

Well, it's baseball, one of the longest most boring ways to spend a day.
Baseball was designed for radio, it's a dying attendance sport with out TV/Internet 9 second attention span world.
But, the good news is the real value is in the calls you made and the offer you shared. Your clients will remember the offer.
I pray that the first 15 calls I make say no thank you, I want to make many calls with FREE tickets before someone says yes!

Maybe you didnt ask the right people. Baseball fans would jump at free tickets. To go to see the Red Sox games good tickets are over $100 ea plus parking of $50 so it is not cheap and when someone says free, im in

Maybe they are not interested in baseball ... or don't want to feel an obligation back to you.

Maybe people really do have to check their schedules. I don't know that I find something free from someone I know less attractive than when offered by someone I don't know. In fact, it's just the reverse.

I think we're all so busy these days (not just in real estate but, in life) that we miss out on opportunities to enjoy things like a great game!
I was given two tickets to a game last month and was unable to go due to out of town buyers being in town that evening. Like you, I couldn't give those tickets away...and they were fantastic seats too!

Hmm, maybe these are people who aren't baseball fans? Otherwise, I don't get it.

Not really sure I think to me it depends mostly on what the FREE is that is offered
1,506,163
Depends on the time, how well the team is doing, etc. I'd pass on Dodgers tickets because it's a pain in the ass to get there from where I live. Even worse for the Angeles. Multiple hours in traffic for both!

If I was back in Sarasota, I would have jumped at the chance to spend time with you. Give me a few weeks and I am there!
1,624,853
I would not ask, I'd just mail or hand deliver those people who might be interested. If they can not go, they will pass them.

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 - very interesting observation!
Though my free 'items of values' are loved by most of my clients.

We had season tickets to NFL games and tried for 3 years off and on to give our tickets to friends or clients. Some would say yes and bail at the last minute, others said they had other plans or would get back to us. The truth was probably they were just not interested Free or not.

I hear you. I had 20 free tickets for event and could only get 8 people to it.

In todays jaded world FREE will generally land in the spam folder before it is ever seen.

Baseball is not a big deal in Florida. Football or NASCAR tickets would be flying out of your hands.

Pure skepticism? That's all I can think of. Meanwhile, I'd be there in a heartbeat with some very happy family members!

If I have the time, I might watch it on TV. Am just not into baseball to the extent that I would go through the hasstle of going there, getting stuck in traffic, etc. Yet I know I would enjoy it once I went. But that's a big commitment of time and energy. So to me, it wouldn't be FREE even though the thought is great. SELL THEM! SCALP THEM since you are going anyway. Then you know they will be used.
1,847,051
Just hand them out when you get to the field. But be selective as those people will have access to alcohol & could ruin your entire game.
I don't think it's the FREE, it's the baseball game ..... couldn't get me at one even if you paid me!

I would take the tickets in a heart beat and I am not a true baseball fan. That said, some people are never greatful!
5,061,034
I suspect there was a legitimate reason for not jumping on them.
As far as yoru question, I don't necessarily think something from someone you don't know is any more attractive than from someone you do. And it would depend on what it is

Free tickets and your real estate services are best marketed in your home neighborhood.
