I am surprisingly ignorant on this topic. I've seen "skyslope" four times in a brief span so I will add it to my ever-increasing list of technology to research.

I like Skyslope but perhaps look at it from a different persepctive than you would as the broker. I'll be interested to read what others have to say.

I was looking into these options about 5 years ago and I was going to go with Skyslope.  Our state association ended up getting a different program for forms that also has a paperless filing system, but if that hadn't happened I think I would have gotten Skyslope.

I hven't had to shop for these as I don't run a small brokerage, but my company went to skyslope some years back and as a "user" it's quite friendly and customer service good.

We use Skyslope and it is far more cumbersome than DocuSign Transaction Rooms.

We went with TR at my old company and LOVED it - it's cheap and quite effective for those tasks that you're looking for. I don't like the bulky Skyslope but, it's what my new brokerage uses and there isn't another option!

After this past week, you may have a tough time getting anyone to respond to your docusign requests.  Most of those requests are going straight to the spam folder.

I hope you find a good solution, will be reading the replies.

AppFiles works for me.

When considering 'enterprise' software the price goes way up.

Its like reserving a conference room in a hotel. When the hear the word wedding, the price goes WAY UP.

If I were you I would create a alias and start searching 'cloud Broker' and look behind the curtain.

I was at a Realtor seminar where this was discussed and by far the one that got the most raves was Skyslope. I heard things like ease of use and that it had every component they needed. One broker said he could not run his business without it. I figured to have everything that they said it had it was expensive. But on the other hand sometimes the cost is well worth it.

I use zipforms, they have a transaction managment option that I've never touched.  Might be of use to you.  Out here, it's all free.

All, thank you for the feedback.  There's not an easy answer.

To net it out...

Skyslope is $3,000/year for 5 agents, but $3,000 price based off 10 agents so not maximizing value unless you have 10 producing agents.

Docusign Transaction Rooms is $1,400-$1,800/year for 5 agents + $150 set up fee.  I've heard mixed reviews about ongoing support, but electronic signature is the best in biz.

Transaction Desk is free through our board (payed via dues) and has potentials, but system is glitchy.  Seems like they are working through a few things, but the shortcomings have caused headaches and made it appear that there are user errors which is unacceptable when I'm dealing with high end clients.  Plus my agents are frustrated with it.

Paperless Pipeless has received positive reviews and is less expensive, but doesn't offer electronic signature or integration with zip forms, so you need to maintain a Docusign (or similar) subscription.

If price was no object, I'd go with Skyslope, but it's 2x's the cost of other systems, so ulitmately a needs vs. wants decision.  Also, all systems except Paperless Pipeline require a 1-year commitment, so need to be sure about the system before making investment. Hoping to get clarity after continued research.  Please send any/all information that may be helpful!  I'll continue to post updates as I find out more...

We use Docusign Transaction Rooms. We just started using it this year & I personally don't know 'about the backend' that you speak. It either works or it doesn't as it's a document 'bin' of sorts.

DS is used with our board with templates that works seamlessly with contract filling. I like it but many agents are confused by the whole scenario. Alot has to do with the agents themselves trying to get it going.
