Sorry, Fred - I can't seem to delete this answer or modify it. Ugh. I was trying to post a photo of our office tarantula - so yes, we're pretty pet friendly, in the office, at home, and with our clients. And with the vet school at CSU, some of our clients have some pretty strange pets.

No pets at work.

Although I did sell a horse property once and brought Peroni to that once vacant and let him run around for a few hours while I had my photo & video crew out there.

Yes I have a dog & she can go anywhere I go. The office is sorta tolerant but I no longer have a private office so I don't bring her.  Meet 'Bella the Blunderdog'.

I have found that buyers with no pets are more difficult and up tight. 

I have had horses, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish, birds, turtles and snakes.

I really hope that "the happy cat" in the picture thinks that the squirrel is her baby and she is taking it in to love...I love squirrels and have also fostered squirrel babies after hurricanes.

Yes, I allowed pets into the office...perfect ice breakers.

I prefer pets over people!!!  We've always surrounded ourselves with dogs, cats, goats, horses . . .  at the moment we have only 1 who we adopted at Christmas.  Her name is Holly and she's 6 months old, weighs under 4 pounds and is a chihuaha/poodle mix. 

I have a kitty and most days, she takes 75% of my office chair and I get 25%...!!

He's taking a nap in the office right now but I can't get that photo to upload for some reason.  So here's another....

I am lucky to work right out of my home and so I get to spend every day with my three favorite doggies, Diamond (Westie) and Dusty Buster (Schitzu) mine and my daughter's Kona Bella (Beagle) who used to stay with us 3-4 days a week while she was at work ... I don't take them on appointments although they are the greeters when customers stop in. If you are stopping in you better bring Treats!  They keep me busy with taking a break every two hours to take a visit outside to chase squirrels, rabbits or to take care of their business.

What a cute cat, Fred! I wrote a post this morning about National Pet Day and posted my Oliver's picture on it. Of course, pets are allowed in my office... Oliver sits on the easy chair in my office throughout the day and supervises.

We have 2 dogs and a crazy cat.  My "office" is at home so they can come and go as they please.  The cat usually takes up residence on my lap while I check email etc every morning.  In my line of work I do deal with the issue of pets...I try to eliminate any evidence of them when possible.  Not because I don't like them, and truthfully, most buyers are ok with pets, but since my job is to help my sellers appeal to the widest array of buyers, I try to accommodate those who aren't animal lovers as well.

Glad to hear the rodent in your picture survived Fred Griffin .  I would say at least 50% of my clients (Buyers and Sellers) are pet owners. Our family pet list at this time is two guinea pigs and a parakeet, none of which have ever been to the office. One of my associates brings his little terrier in on occasion.

That photo made my heart sink.  Thank you for posting that it was released and fine.  Maybe it is because it is National Pet day my Mikey is just being real noisy today.  

Wow, that's a lot of questions! We have 3 indoor cats. I have clients with all sorts of pets - cats, dogs, horses, turtles are the most common. No pets in the brokerage office but I often have a cat in my home office!

I would say the majority of my clients have pets.  We have 2 cats.

I have no pets.... my daughter has two beautiful golden retrievers and one cat.... one of my sons loves cats and has one.... no pets in the office...none.

I make sure to put that in remarks since some people can't not be around animals.

Fred, bet that ruined that squirrel's day and bet it doesn't come out of the tree again that day!

No pets here.  Some of my listings have them.  Played with a dog when presenting an offer last night.

We sometimes bring dogs into the office. They are all very well behaved. I love the picture!

Rarely...

Lots of people have pets and love them.  Though, they don't necessarily like anyone else's pets.

I have two cats and a dog. Well, they do not know they missed a very special day:)

My office is in dog friendly Carmel-by-the-Sea, dogs everywhere including at Doris Day's Cypress Inn where they can be seen in the bar, in the library for tea - often in great looking outfits. But I love them best on Carmel Beach where they can romp around off leash and play with other dogs. Oh yes, I have 3 dogs and 1 turtle.

We are down to one pet, a 45 year old turtle and he will outlive us all...

Most days we have three dogs in the office.

Have had some problem properties with pets! Have also had some owners who handled it well!

Bend Oregon is Dog City USA. We have many dogs, and many businesses allowing people to bring their dogs into them. Clients have both dogs and cats - and because we also represent rural property, we have llamas, alpacas, goats, cattle, horses---you get the picture.

That is one serious look on the cat and the squirrel is ferozen with fear. Glad the cat is not too hostile.

I have no pets (allergic) and no pets in my office. When i get listings we do prefer the pets go for a walk or ride with the seller

Pets are a blessing to many, but can be an issue when showing homes - escaping, odors, bites, etc. BTW, my cat hunts real squirrels!

No animals in the office.  I'm deathly allergic.  However if they're in clients' homes, I have no choice but to deal with it.
