Organic & FB.  Both are 2 different animals that you have to hone to get good at. Learn A & B marketing to make it most effective.

We've done quite well with Adwords.  However, internet marketing is pretty much all we do spend money on, we do no postcards, mailings etc and we have basically been "internet" agents for 13 years.  It's not for everyone and you have to be excellent at internet lead conversion to make it worth your money. -Kasey

I like the short guy on the corner spinning a sign. Always works, or at least stops traffic!

I always prefer organic because those are people who are reaching out to us, mostly phone calls. 

But for paid, I like Facebook ads and boosted posts the best. We get the most value for our money from FB ads. 

I prefer organic but also get good results from FB ads.

We've had success with organic internet lead generation, very little success with any paid services.

Fresh content... those blogs and videos get you a ride on the front page search indexes.

I have never had much success with any paid adds, I would go with the organic approach.

We do adwords and facebook - and have had good success with both. The key is to set your budget, target your market, and persistence in contacting all leads over and over again until you get a response.  We had agents recently working old internet leads, some over 3 years old. We have reestablished communication and even have a showing on a 3 year old lead scheduled next week. 

I do not use paid advertising with any of the sites you listed.

I am frugal so shy away from many paid marketing schemes! 

I haven't found an effective, paid marketing campaign yet.

I don't particularly pay much for marketing campaigns on the web.

Either way, looks like face book marketing is widely used. That's where I spent my money last month.  

By far I prefer organic but have had some success from Facebook ads.

Client Appreciation Parties and clients & networking lunches and coffees.

Facebook is working for me too.

What works in your marketplace.  All the above may work in some and not others...for instance, we have found that properly placed print works in CA second home markets, in parts of CO, in part of FLA. and yes in Honolulu and in Mauii.  It really depends who you are targetting and where they are coming from.  A

Blogging on AR and on my web site has been more effective than any paid promotions.

So far the only thing I've done is Facebook with Instagram.  Originally, not too well.  Now much better.

Facebook is our number one paid marketing platform.  It gives realtime results and is cost efficient.  Direct Mail is our second choice making sure to aways include something of value.  We print the content on the envelope so they know to open it.  Sports Schedules, Flag Pins, Branded Key Chain etc.
