No - not really.  I have said things in a surprised and animated voice ...Oh really.  I did not know that.  I have always believed [fill in the blank] and go on to say ... I need to do some more research on that.  I have had escrow officers say some really stupid things ... I will simply look at my clients and say ... we can discuss that further later on.

We don't meet with the other agent and their client at closing. Each party signs separately- probably due to issues such as what you describe.

We don't close at the same time, so have never run into this. Was there a specific instance this happened? What was said? I think I would only same something if it were pertinent to the contract and purchase and sale and if it affected anything going on, so I guess it depends.-Kasey

William,

That is a though one.  In a closing of a lease with several attorneys on each side, the other agent gave advice that did not benefit her client, and the client's attorneys did not say a word.  Our client's attorneys did not either.  The lease was signed.  A

So long as it doesn't apply to anything having to do with the house my clients are buying or selling that could cause a problem down the line, the answer is no... I don't correct another agent or interfere in their relationship with their client. And in many cases, my clients and I are often not in the same room with the other party so we wouldn't know what was said in any event.

Depends on what has escaped the mouth of babies.

"You will have no problem with this as a vacation rental,"  would get a 'I'd check on that on Pg 11, paragraph 4 of the HOA documents.' That is a "CLEARLY FALSE" that has long term consequences that will come home to roost in my house. Yes, it may kill the deal.
