About the same as when I see a dog... why? Really?

As I love cats, it doesn't bother me personally. But really, there should be no pets in pictures posted in mls.

1st off, where's the pic so we may judge it's cinematic quality?
Doesn't bother me, happens all the time & you have to wonder about the listing agent.

If it was a black cat it could be haunted. Personally i do not think any pet should be in a mls picture but there seem to be more and more.

The agent needs to be more careful in what they are shooting., it does tell the everyone a professional was not taking photos. Many do not want to live in a house where cats have lived. You just turned off a good pool of buyers.

No reaction at all. It's the posterior still in the door frame that makes me scratch my head.
However agent business images with critters included does get a chuckle out of me.

Great answers all! I only ask because I've seen several cat pictures lately and wonder if it is a trend I am missing. Thanks.

The first thing it tells me is that the photographer was not a professional, and secondly, it may turn off some Buyers who are allergic... especially if there is carpeting in the home.

I think of Nicole Doty - Gilbert Real Estate Expert and wonder if she is still finding animals in the MLS.

Like Nina Hollander we are fond of cats, but someone these shots have nothing to offer the viewer in understanding what the home is like. A

A cat can limit a buyer - especially if they are really allergic to them. I would recommend pets such as dogs and cats not be in MLS photos. However, animals which show a lifestyle can be a wonderful asset. One of the best photos I can recall on a ranch property was a picture of a baby horse taken from inside the barn with the horse standing in the doorway looking out. This tugged at the emotion and showed that the property was set up for a ranch lifestyle.

By the time I see a cat in the photos, I've already seen other photos that tell me the agent doesn't have their seller's best interest in mind - at least not enough to hire a professional photographer.

As a showing agent I'm going to hope they keep an odor-free litter box, and the kitty food sealed up. Worst case I'll be sneezing with watering eyes when showing. Being allergic to Cats is not fun when you must venture into their world.

That the agent has no marketing sense whatsoever. Neither pets nor people should be in MLS photos.
1,466,257
Jennifer Mackay No pets in any of the photos. Some people are not cat lovers and it will hurt marketing.
5,246,528
I'm allergic, so my first thought is are there alternative properties to show?

Agent needs to have better photos taken or fire the photographer? Bring a black light at the home inspection and look for cat pee on the flooring?
